to klsnyydeyeah : Just occurred to me that decades ago, the 1960s, the "gas" stations were also called "Service" stations and a man would indeed put the nozzle in the orifice and wipe the windows and could check the oil and windshield washer fluid so those cars at the time MUST not have had that release in the cabin, or they did but the hood could also be raised externally also.

0:55  Waitaminit here! Are you showing me VW's have NO engine compartment security - the need to have an in cabin hood release- so anyone could swipe the battery or othersuch?  Gonna have to see about this when I am in the market for another vehicle.  Hey, these VWs also have or do not have door or trunk locks?

0:50 Kraut spelling is same as Ingles/American "Super"? Interesting.( Or as Arte Johnson on the 1960s tv show Laugh-In would say"Veeeeerrry Eeenteresting..." and ad a crack about a then current political figure)

0:32  When first heard the banjo music, I thought "Where's Jed and the rest of the Beverly Hillbillies?" And I see the rural farmwear of the bib overalls has a Euro counterpart.
